Funbrain (funbrain.com) is a website that features hundreds of free online storybooks, educational games, and videos since 1997.  The site is geared for students in grades Pre-K to 8^th grade.  Users can browse by grade level or by type: books, games, or videos.  The games, books, and videos offered on this site help develop skills in math, reading, problem solving, and literacy.

Funbrain features hundreds of free books that can be read on the site.  Each book tells what age group they are appropriate for.  The homepage features popular books and new books.  There are even series books such as, Harry Moon and Judy Moody.  There are all kinds of books that students can choose from and enjoy reading. 

Another great feature on this site is the animated storybook videos.  The Highlights Animated Storybook Series alone features many great educational videos.  There are many topics to choose from too.  The videos also tell what age group they are appropriate for. 

A fun literacy games I found while exploring the site is titled, “Word Turtle.” The objective of the game is to complete the word search by clicking on the first letter of each hidden word.  It was such a fun a game.  This is just one of many games featured on this site!

Although the site offers and features so much, it is very easy to navigate and explore around the site.  Students are sure to have hours of educational fun!
