online library filled with unique children’s books for educational purposes or
enjoyment, and literacy resources available for downloading in a user-friendly
PDF format. The books are separated by categories: toddler – books containing
lots of pictures with few words, children – books with few pictures and lots of
words, and young adult – books with no significant pictures and chapter length
books.
This
website is a great educational website promoting literacy because there are a
variety of books and resources to choose from depending on the level of
reading. Books can also be selected for classroom instruction or pleasure
reading. What’s great about this website is that the books are free and can be
downloaded as PDF. It is a great way to have a collection of books to enhance
and promote literacy in the classroom and enjoyment for reading at home.

additional resources on promoting literacy. These resources include Learning to Read Workbooks and Files,
