Starfall (www.starfall.com) is an early education website for grades Pre-K to 3 featuring some free interactive games, songs, and supporting resources for English Language Arts and Math. Starfall activities are researched-based and aligned with Common Core State Standards. The website initially started with its reading program, categorized into four sections: (1) ABCs, which introduces letter sounds through videos and interactive games, (2) Learn to Read, which teaches some of the more common sounds through interactive games, books, and videos (3) It's Fun to Read, in which children learn to read in context, and (4) I'm Reading, in which children read short books, comics, and plays. Children can progress through these four sections and move on to other sections as their reading skills improve.

In addition to these interactive activities, there is a Parent-Teacher Center that has free printable worksheets for reinforcement, pre-K and kindergarten curricula, lists of Common Core State Standards alignments, and other resources for teachers. Moreover, there is a Starfall Store in which teachers or parents can purchase additional resources, such as books, instructional kits, and teaching tools. Currently, there is a limited amount of Starfall's activities for free. Teachers need to purchase a subscription to unlock other features. However, there is still a great amount of free activities and games that can be used to promote literacy in the classroom.

Overall, the educational website is a great literacy website because it offers  interactive and engaging activities that children at the primary level will enjoy! It is very user-friendly and appealing with vivid images and videos. The educational website also allows children to explore, play, and become intrinsically motivated!
